How far along? 25. Freaking out thinking there's only 3 months to go!
This Week the baby is a size of a: Cauliflower. I know what you're thinking, "How big is a cauliflower?" because I also had no idea. He's about 13-14 inches long and weighs 1.5 - 2.5 pounds.
Total weight gain/loss: about 7 pounds... it depends on the day
Maternity clothes? nope but I wear gym shorts so that's practically the same thing
Belly button in or out? in, but it's stretching
Sleep: Starting to sleep better but I've been having the weirdest dreams
Best moment this week: Getting a pedicure and foot massage... soooo necessary
Movement: yes, every few hours I'll feel him move for about 30 - 40 minutes
Symptoms: SCIATICA! I'm having sciatic nerve pain due to pregnancy which basically means my butt hurts and it's hard to make simple movements such as crossing my legs or standing up.
Symptoms I DON'T have: I'm not losing balance or swelling up yet
Food cravings: Carbs. Donuts, pasta, bagels, cereal, sandwiches... and Mocha anything.
Gender: I don't feel a need to answer this question anymore, I don't think gender will change... boy
What I miss: being able to move effortlessly and having energy. and not feeling hungry 24/7
What I am looking forward to: I'm actually excited about getting a big belly.
Weekly Wisdom: don't drink water after dinner so instead of waking up to pee 10 times, you'll only wake up 5.
Milestones: the baby knows equilibrium. Like, he actually knows which way is up and which way is down. He is getting fatter and growing more hair. The nervous system is also in it's crucial stage of development. ALSO! We're cleaning out the attic so we can move all of the junk from our spare room to the attic so the spare room can become the nursery! Even though we're donating everything to GoodWill, I feel bad because most of it is probably junk from 10-20 years ago.
To Do List: the two big things I have to do is look into health insurance plans and get on waiting lists at daycares.
